MANUFACTURER'S CERTIFICATION
C900 SERIES PVC PIPE
This is to certify that all 4" thru 12" C-900 DR 25 (165),
DR 18 (235) and DR 14 (305) pressure pipe will meet or exceed all performance
specifications set forth in the AWWA C-900-07 when tested in accordance with
ASTMD-2122 and UL 1285.
The material conforms to a cell classification of 12454 as defined
by ASTM D1784 Standard Specification of Rigid Poly (Vinyl Chloride) (PVC) Compounds
Markings of the pipe conforms to AWWA C-900 for identification of
nominal pipe size (CI diameter), NSF-pw seal, NSF-61 seal, UL 1285 seal, Factory Mutual
(FM Approved) seal (For our DR 18 and DR 14 line of pipe), material code certification
(PP-I), pressure rating, manufacturer's name and code.
SBR HT 627 Rieber CIOD gaskets are used in each piece. These gaskets
are NSF approved and conform to ASTM F477.
Each piece of C-900 is hydrostatic tested off the line at 2 times the
designated pressure class for no less than 5 seconds. Our QC department keeps records
of the results of each test and can be furnished upon request. Each piece of pipe of
C-900 pipe is made into 20 foot sections with reference marks for easy installation.
